Counting In Korean:
Sino-Korean:
- 1 = il/일 (il)
- 2 = i/이 (ee)
- 3 = sam/삼 (sam)
- 4 = sa/사 (sah)
- 5 = o/오 (oh)
- 6 = yuk/육(yook)
- 7 = ch’il/칠 (CHeel – with a hard CH sound)
- 8 = p’al/팔 (Pual – with a hard P sound)
- 9 = ku/구 (goo)
- 10 = sip/십 (like sheep, but with a shorter vowel)
Native Korean:
- 1 = ha-na/하나 (HAH-nah)
- 2 = dul/둘 (dhool)
